We made the run out to the towers, about ninety minutes each way on our 32-foot Sea Hunt Gamefish with twin 300s. Smooth, comfortable ride, though we had to dodge a few thunderstorms along the way.

The bite was hot early. We hooked into some mangrove snapper, put a few black grouper in the box, and had some fun with some snack-sized yellowtail for the young ones on board.

Captain's Take: The group had an amazing time, made some family memories, and we were back at the dock with a great day of fishing.

Conditions: Had to dodge a few thunderstorms during the run
