Evening Snook Bite Near Naples
By Captain Bly, Bly Inshore Charters · 9/21/2026
After negotiating the perils of the City of Naples boat ramp, we got into the backwaters and hit the Honey Hole for an evening bite with Ian and Bryan Durkin. We kept it tight, caught a few catfish, landed one keeper snook, and released a couple of small baby Goliath groupers. We had a great time and outran the evening storm rolling in from Marco Island.

What's Working
- Honey Hole backwater spot producing an evening snook bite
- Points with moving water during the outgoing tide, even with warm 85°F water
It was an outgoing tide with water temperature at a warm 85 degrees, but we found some points with moving water that produced fish.
Conditions: Outgoing tide, water temperature around 85°F.
