Six Tarpon Hookups Off Sanibel

I was with Ian and Bryan. We were scoring the beaches from Wiggins Pass up to San Carlos Pass and up along the beaches of Sanibel looking for tarpon. We had six hookups. We caught a 120 pounder — it was six feet long. We lost two to the tax man; the big ass shark came and bit it. We were on our 21.

We had a blast. The weather was great. We beat the afternoon thunderstorms. We're back sipping a cold iced tea at the beachfront lodge at the docks, having pizza.
